It is possible to do the Cardiff City and Cardiff Bay tours on the same day. The Cardiff tour finishes outside Cardiff Castle by 1:15pm, and on average it takes about 30 minutes to get to Cardiff Bay. This should leave enough time to have something to eat before arriving in Cardiff Bay for 2:30pm.

Cardiff Bay tours start from outside the
Wales Millennium Centre on Bute Place, in Cardiff Bay, under the letters (in the image below),
and opposite the water tower.

Directions to Cardiff Bay from Cardiff City Centre
On Foot
Cardiff Bay is a straight line south of the city centre, roughly a 30 minute walk from The Hayes, via Bute St. or Lloyd George Ave.
By Train
Take a train for 12 minutes from Cardiff Central Station to Cardiff Bay Station, which costs £3.50 one way.
By Bus
Take the numbers 6, X8 or 132 bus from outside Wyndham Arcade on St. Mary St., for £2.00 one way and the journey takes 15 minutes.
By Boat
For a more picturesque and unique experience, take a boat trip along the Taff River from inside the gates of Bute Park, every 30 minutes for £6 one way with Aqua Bus or Cardiff Boat.
